Peace Corps Ghana 50th Anniversary Celebration in Washington DC on Friday, September 23, 2011

Friends of Ghana is hosting a 50th Anniversary celebration of Peace Corps in Ghana at the Embassy of Ghana. Profits will go to the Peace Corps Partnership in Ghana. There will be a full Ghanaian buffet and cash bar (Star beer available!).

Event is Friday, September 23rd from 6 PM to 8:30 PM.

  • Reception @ 6:00pm
  • Program @ 6:45pm
  • Dinner @ 7:15pm

The Embassy of Ghana is at 3512 International Drive NW in Washington, DC. Parking is difficult and not recommended. The Embassy of Ghana is near Connecticut Ave. and Van Ness Street NW, where the Van Ness Metro station (Red Line) and two commercial parking lots are. Walk two long blocks west and make a left on International Drive.  The embassy is the second building on the right.

Cost is $25 per person until September 18th, $35 until September 22nd, and $40 at the door. Children under 6 years are free. Children ages 7-12 are half price.
